Daniel M. Lofaro Ph.D:
Daniel M. Lofaro Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, USA. A graduate from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Drexel University, he worked at the Drexel Autonomous Systems Lab (DASL) at under Dr. Paul Oh. Research interests include Complex Control Systems and Robotics with most recent ventures relating to Robot Design and Cloud Robotics. Daniel's dissertation title is Unified Algorithmic Framework for High Degree of Freedom Complex Systems and Humanoid Robots.
Talha (Muhammed) Agcayazi:
Talha designs and creates UAVs. His first was equipped with a combined vision and manipulation system. Aerial manipulation is on the bleeding edge of UAV research and remains an unsolved problem. Talha is one of a hand full of American researchers that is currently focusing on this problem. He is currently striving to improve upon his overall design. Through calculation and experimentation he found that the vision system was the limiting factor in the performance of his UAVs.
